Brunswick Art + Design is a 20th century design gallery offering furniture and art objects, with a predilection for Italian, Scandinavian and French creations from the 1950s to 1970s .
Initially itinerant, the gallery will establish a permanent location in July 2024 at 62 rue de Turenne in the 3rd arrondissement.
Designed like an apartment to allow the future collector to envision themselves there, it is structured around an eclectic but coherent collection of designer or anonymous pieces, rare and sometimes unique.
After honing his skills at Christie's in London as an expert in 20th century decorative arts and design, Xavier Brunswick founded Brunswick Art + Design in 2020.
Responsible for the sale of prestigious collections and big names in Italian and Scandinavian design such as Gio Ponti, Carlo Mollino or Finn Juhl, Xavier specialized from the beginning of his career in furniture from the 1950s to 1970s.
Drawing on his experience, Xavier has developed a keen eye and a sure taste which contribute to the quality of the selection he offers.
